George Lajpold - Practice lead

George was born and bred in Lower Hutt and his whakapapa goes back to the Cook Islands and Czech Republic. George re-joins the Healthy Families Hutt Valley team after having previously filled the role of Systems Innovator - Smokefree Environments.

George’s key focus as our Practice Lead will be upskilling the team in community-led development and systems change practice to support and enable greater health for our communities across the Hutt Valley.

He joins us from the Hutt City Council – our lead provider, where he was the Sport Recreation and Play Manager. George brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience working alongside the community which is aligned to his journey and experience within Central Government, Local Government, Regional NGO’s and owning his own business.
